WHAT YOU'LL DO
Educational Program Planning: conceptualize educational programs that align with organizational goals and target audience needs. Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices.
Learning Experience Design: Ensure that the design of learning spaces meet educational pedagogy goals, integrating interactive and experiential learning methodologies.
Design & Documentation: Lead concept development, design, and documentation. Oversee 1-5 staff, ensuring designs meet the project’s vision and are within budget and timeline.
Leadership: Develop and manage workflows and design schedules. Coordinate with consultants and Districts to ensure seamless execution and client leadership.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with educators, administrators, students, parents, and consultants to collect feedback and develop designs accordingly.
Construction Phase & Quality Control: Review and oversee construction-related documentation, ensuring that the design intent is maintained.
Post-Occupancy Evaluation: Implement strategies to measure the effectiveness of completed projects and identify areas for improvement.
Training & Development: Collaborate with staff to mentor and train by sharing knowledge and expertise, and be involved in professional development for career and personal growth.
ROLES WE'RE SEEKING
Senior Associate in Educational Planning and Design, Senior Designer, and Project Designer with expertise in educational facility design.
These roles will focus on educational programming, planning, and visioning, shaping learning experiences that enhance engagement and outcomes. From concept through documentation, our designers lead the way in delivering high-quality, innovative spaces that support students, educators, and communities.
WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited school.
5-10+ years of experience in educational facility design, with expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Photoshop. Min 4 years in the specified position as Senior Associate in Educational Planning and Design / Senior Designer/ Project Designer
Expertise in Revit, Adobe programs, Rhino/ Sketch-up, and other design tools
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing all design phases, including supervising design teams.
